Venue Information

(The conference will provide parking passes for the Walker Deck.)

UNCG Esports Arena – Arrival Information Download

The conference sessions will take place in the Esports Arena in Moran Commons and Room 213 in the Petty Building, as shown on the map above. The Petty Building is across from Moran Commons, opposite the Arena entrance.

Offsite Venue Information

Friday night 7-9 pm

Boxcar Bar + Arcade, 120 W. Lewis St, Greensboro. There is a private, paid parking lot next to Boxcar. There is also limited street parking available throughout downtown; however, those spots fill up quickly.

Saturday night 5:30-9 pm

Oden Brewing, 802 W. Gate City Blvd, Greensboro. There is a parking lot behind the building. The Rockin Moroccan food truck will be at Oden from 5-9 pm.

Registration and Attendance

Registration will remain open until 11:59 pm on March 19, 2026. Limited registrations may be available at the door. Attendees can pick up badges and pay in person on Friday, March 20, from 5 pm – 7 pm, or on Saturday, March 21, from 8:30 am – 9 am, both at the Esports Arena.

Please note: Refunds will not be given after March 20, 2026.

Bringing Guests to the UNCG Game Studies Conference

If you plan to bring a partner or family member, a dependent or other individual requiring care, or a caregiver onsite to the conference, please contact uncggamestudies@gmail.com as soon as possible. The conference staff will prepare a guest badge for pickup at the conference registration counter. Minors will also need to have a release form completed by their guardian. All attendees and guests of registered attendees must wear badges while on the event premises.

Hotel Information

Here are some suggested Greensboro hotels near UNCG’s campus. There are no conference-specific hotel blocks; attendees will be responsible for all housing arrangements.
